Here we are in this moment - Winged Realm 2023 Pencil, mono print and pastel on BFK paper, 76 x 110 cm. I see drawing is the same as markmaking, it is integral to my practice. It is what connects me to the material and the relationship with the artwork begins. The titles pays homage to avant-garde experimental poet Christopher Barnett, Barnett is a figure from my past as a young artists living and working in Brunswick street Fitzroy where Barnett and other street poets would perform.
